The SEC is consulting until 30 Sep 2026 on rules for brokers taking clients into overseas crypto-linked futures and derivatives. Retail and HNW clients would be allowed only on products matching Thai-listed terms and cleared through a central counterparty on an IOSCO- or WFE-regulated exchange. Anything outside those conditions would be limited to institutional investors. This is a regulatory proposal, not a change in force. Business owners not in investment or brokerage have no action to take.
