Heavy rain has flooded Kanchanaburi, with more than 400 households evacuated in Sangkhla Buri and Thong Pha Phum. Highway 323 between Thong Pha Phum and Sangkhla Buri is badly damaged, and large trucks cannot enter the area. Power and phone services were out for over 15 hours. Two people are missing. Authorities warn that Mae Klong Dam is releasing 1,321 cubic metres per second, so downstream communities in Ratchaburi and Samut Songkhram should move stock and equipment to higher ground. If you have stock, staff, or deliveries in these areas, move them now and expect delays.
