The National Housing Authority (กคช.) plans its "Baan Kaheha Pheua Khon Thai" programme: about 44,000 long-term (30-year) rental units at roughly 2,000-4,000 baht a month, to be proposed to the cabinet for 2027-2032 in phases. Phase 1 (5 projects, 4,102 units) goes to the cabinet in March 2027, phase 2 in April. It also wants private developers under design-and-build or PPP deals on its land, including a senior complex in Bang Lamung, Chonburi. For SME builders, interior, furniture and construction contractors, this is a pipeline to bid on. Otherwise it is mainly background for landlords and rental-market planning.
