The organising committee for the 2029 Nakhon Ratchasima horticultural expo has voted to propose to the Cabinet that the venue move from Khong district to Pak Chong district. Khong's sub-district mayor says the district loses expected infrastructure, tourism, economic and job benefits, and asks for the decision to be reconsidered before it is finalised. The decision is not yet final, as it still needs Cabinet approval.
