The higher education minister confirmed the relocation of Uthenthawai vocational college from its Phaya Thai Road site to a temporary site in Bang Phli, Samut Prakan, despite student protests. The move has a 90-day transition period, and the old land will be used for education, innovation and industry, not commercial development. Little direct impact on most Thai SMEs; relevant mainly if you trade or supply near the campus or in Bang Phli.
