Thailand's DES Ministry's TH-AI Passport (AiPASS) lets Thais aged 15 and older register, verify identity and create accounts at de.aipass.net, using Google, Microsoft or Apple sign-in. Verification works via the Tang Rat app (about two seconds) or ThaiD app (slower, 15-20 minute waits at launch). Registration is only for sign-up; AI models become usable from Aug 31. Over 500,000 had registered on day one, and the ministry targets 5 million.
