The PM's deputy has approved in principle an early-retirement scheme for civil servants: ages 50+ or 25+ years of service, and ages 40–49 with 10+ years, with lump sums capped at 12 times pay. Hiring freezes on vacated posts will tighten. A permit-facilitation law takes effect 4 January 2027, which should cut repeated document requests and steps for businesses.
