The cabinet-approved flood relief of 9,000 baht per household is open from 2 October 2026 at 08:00 for Bangkok and 65 provinces. Eligibility requires a declared emergency disaster zone and one of four damage cases: flooding inside the home for up to 7 days with belongings damaged, flooding over 7 days, being cut off for over 7 days, or condo/high-rise residents cut off from normal life for over 7 days. Documents: ID card, house registration, title deed or lease, damage photos if any, and bank book. Apply via the "ทางรัฐ" app (get a REQ tracking code), or in person at the municipality, subdistrict or provincial administration office, or at the Bangkok district office (claim.bangkok.go.th). Tenants can claim if they actually live there, even without house registration. Staff who handle rental or small-shop customers should check whether their staff or tenants qualify.
