On 20 Sep 2026 a short circuit near Tao Poon–Bang Pho damaged the Blue Line's power supply and signalling systems, and service was suspended between Bang O and Kamphaeng Phet stations. The state rail operator MRT says full service should resume the morning of 21 Sep. For a business, this only matters if staff or deliveries depend on the Blue Line; allow extra travel time until service is confirmed back to normal.
