The Employee Support Fund law takes effect 1 October. The NESDC estimates about 107,000 workplaces, 80.7% of firms with 10 or more employees, will have to remit contributions, covering roughly 5.7 million workers. If you have 10+ staff, check your registration and payroll setup before October and budget for the contribution.
