The PM has ordered agencies to prepare for another round of heavy rain from 5 October, with the south expected to get the most. Flooding currently affects 31 provinces including Bangkok, with 3.5 million people affected. Ayutthaya and Pathum Thani areas along the Chao Phraya and Pa Sak rivers are on watch, and Pa Sak dam is at 110% of capacity with no room left. For a Thai SME, this means checking stock and equipment stored at ground level, planning delivery routes and staff access, and watching for closures in the flood-affected provinces this week.
