The Office of Insurance Commissioner (คปภ.) opened four claim channels for the national disaster insurance scheme: the thainatcat.org website, LINE @ThaiNATCAT, call centre 0-2012-5555, and local claim points or branches of participating insurers. Homes in officially declared disaster zones are covered for flood, windstorm and earthquake damage up to 100,000 baht per household. Flood claims get an initial 10,000 baht within 15 days, with the rest assessed later. Have your ID card, house registration, photos if available, and the PromptPay account linked to your ID ready. No photos does not disqualify a claim. Living in a declared zone alone does not guarantee payment; the damage must meet policy terms. Also note the group accident cover: 2,000,000 baht for death and 200,000 baht for total permanent disability.
