A fire on Friday night partly collapsed the Klongthom Centre on Worachak Road in Pomprap Sattruphai, a steel-frame building with about 500 shops selling electronics, tools and car audio. Fire was under control by 11.13pm and no one was reported trapped. For shop owners in Klongthom or nearby wholesale trade, check your stock, insurance and supplier arrangements, and review your own building's fire safety and exit routes.
