Ratchaburi province has issued Cell Broadcast warnings as Mae Klong dam raises releases from 2,000 to possibly 3,000 cubic metres per second. Water downstream is expected to rise 2.5-3 metres, arriving in about 8-9 hours from the 13:00 release increase. Authorities ask riverside and low-lying areas to evacuate vulnerable people first. Municipal advice: move stock and vehicles to higher ground, unplug or raise electrical cables, and stock dry food and drinking water. Shelters are open at the Ratchaburi gymnasium and Khao Wang. Check official announcements closely, since the water level may change quickly.
