Thailand's transport and tourism ministries signed an MoU for the Amazing Thailand Transfer Passenger Privilege, aimed at travellers with 6-8 hours (up to 24) between flights. Service starts early 2027 at Suvarnabhumi, Don Mueang, Phuket and Krabi, with Hat Yai possibly later. TAT plans three free-of-charge routes: Gastronomy (Thai food and street food), Cultural (Grand Palace, Wat Phra Kaew, old towns), and Health & Wellness (massage and spa). Restaurants, shops, and local tour and spa operators near these airports may get new walk-in customers. No sign-up, fees, or eligibility rules have been announced yet.
