The PM has ordered the State Railway of Thailand to fix Airport Rail Link problems and keep service running. The operating contract with Asia Era One (CP Group subsidiary) expires 30 Sept. The operator has agreed in principle to keep running trains, but amendments still need finalising, and a supervisory committee meets this month. A 60m baht budget to hire an operator for one year is separate from a four-month extension. If you rely on airport transfers or staff commute via this line, plan for possible disruption or extra suburban train options around late September.
