Immigration and labour officials raided a Chinese-run data centre construction site in Ban Chang, Rayong, and arrested 24 Myanmar and Chinese workers without proper permits. Authorities also filed complaints against three contractors for hiring them. If you use subcontractors or hire foreign staff, check that every worker has valid work permits and that your contractor does too. Liability for unpermitted labour can reach the company that hired the crew.
