Salesforce says that from November it will start charging for platform use when software connects through AI agents, counted per successful API call (called Headless Platform Interaction). Agents must be registered first, and admins can control which features humans versus agents can use. The multiplier is not yet decided and prices will be announced 30 days before billing starts. If your business runs Salesforce and uses AI agents or automation tools against it, check your contract and budget for extra API-based costs once the price is published.
