The Meteorological Department warns of heavy to very heavy rain in parts of the East, and heavy rain in Bangkok and metropolitan area, lower Northeast, lower Central and the South over the next 24 hours. Risk: flash floods, mountain runoff and landslides, especially near streams and low-lying areas. Sea waves about 2 m in the upper Gulf of Thailand, over 3 m where storms occur.
