The SEC has issued 11 rules allowing Crypto ETFs in Thailand, effective 16 Oct 2569 (2026). Initially they can hold only Bitcoin and Ethereum, must be passively managed with at least 80% of NAV in crypto on average, and must be held with SEC-supervised DA Custodians. They trade only on the SET, and brokers cannot offer margin loans to buy them. Mostly relevant if your business or your personal savings are considering crypto exposure; otherwise it is background. Watch for brokers pushing these products to customers as a sales channel.
