Floodwater of about 20 to 50 cm sits in common areas of some industrial estates, mainly Lat Krabang and Bang Chan. The Industry Minister says no major factory damage so far, though some plants have water seeping in. The Industrial Estate Authority of Thailand (IEAT) is pumping water out and has sandbags ready. Factories in flood-prone areas should check their own sandbag and pump plans now, and keep stock and equipment off the floor. The rain system is expected to move north within 1-2 days, which should ease rainfall, but the minister warned the situation is not yet over.
