Heavy rain forecast for Sunday 23 August could hit Nan and parts of the lower North again. Soil is already saturated, so landslide and flash-flood risk is high in upper areas. Two people died this week and districts including Pua, Muang and Wiang Sa were flooded. If you have a branch, warehouse, delivery route or supplier in Nan or the lower North, move stock off low ground, plan alternative routes, and keep staff informed. Forecasts will be updated daily.
